About Jeremy

Jeremy Porteous (b. 1997) is a self-taught oil and acrylic painter based in Auckland, New Zealand. He first picked up a paintbrush at age twelve and is yet to put it down. Originally studying science at the University of Auckland, he eventually shifted his focus to his long time hobby of painting. Since then, Jeremy has exhibited in many shows, sold original works to various collectors, as well as having earned awards for his work.

While he has explored a wide range of subjects throughout his career, his recent work focuses on bold, vibrant Landscapes. He is currently refining his artistic voice and continuing to experiment within the Landscape genre.
